Brandcode processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

For which purposes and on which legal basis we process personal data

Brandcode processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • Calling or emailing you if this is necessary for the performance of our services
  • Informing you about amendments to our services and products
  • Delivering goods and services to you
  • Performing assignments based on contracts
  • Selecting you and inviting you to a job interview
  • Analysing your behaviour on the website to improve the website

 

We process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, i.e. a commercial interest or the interest of selection of new colleagues.

We process personal data pursuant to agreements, i.e. for the delivery of our services. The data is necessary for the delivery, performance, and the (financial) transactions.

Brandcode also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, e.g. data we require for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

Brandcode does not take decisions based on automated processing operations on matters that may have (significant) consequences for persons. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programmes or systems, without human (e.g. an Brandcode employee) intervention.

For how long we retain personal data

Brandcode does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for achieving the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Brandcode does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our instructions, to ensure a similar level of security and confidentiality of your data. Brandcode remains responsible for these processing operations.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Brandcode uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit our website. Brandcode uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred setting are remembered. These cookies are also used for the proper functioning and optimisation of the website.

On our site we use content that is hosted on other sites such as YouTube. You can find out what the relevant parties do with cookies and personal data in the privacy policy of the relevant service.

Accessing, adjusting or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Brandcode and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you to you or to another organisation, stated by you, in a computer file. You can send your request for access, correction, deletion, data portability of your personal data or request for the withdrawal of your consent or your objection to the processing of your personal data to studio@brandcode.nl. To ascertain that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of ID along with your request. Black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (Dutch BSN) in this copy for the protection of your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request. Brandcode would also like to point out to you that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can do so via this link.

Brandcode is committed to the protection of your data and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
